July Mission trips in Peru

In July Caleb and Tim have been to the jungle on mission trips. They both traveled over very difficult roads and in boats. The Gospel was shared and many people accepted Jesus.

We saw God move in a great way. Please continue to pray. Caleb is now in the states with his brothers and our families.

Please pray for the new believers. Please pray for those who heard and the Lord is dealing with their hearts.

Today is July 28th, Independence Day in Peru. Pray for the Holy Spirit to convict men of their sins and repent.

Thank you for your prayers. We just found out that we will be able to live in the same home when we return. This is a great blessing for our family. It will be much easier on the moves and transition back and forth for our 10 months in the states. Please pray for us as we are in a time of transition.

July 19, 2009 Mission Trips

Stephens Baptism servic July 18th at the beach in Lima. The water is a tad cold.

Pleaase pray for our family as we transition back to the states for the coming school year. We will be living in Athens and the kids will be going to Prince Ave Christian School. This will be Caleb's Senior year, therefore, next June when we return to Peru we will have a little less luggage.

Jacob and Luke are in Atlanta visiting with family and friends.


Please continue to pray for the Nikkei and our relationships with the members of the SAN association as we teach English classes.

We have several praises at the Prince Mission in Miraflores. Stephen was baptized this weekend. Last Sunday Stephens brother and aunt accepted Christ. An employee at another restaurant has confirmed a decision he made recently and also desires to be baptized.

Caleb is on a mission trip this week into the jungle at a place called Anapate. Please pray for this group as their travel and share the gospel.

Also a mission team from Prince Ave will be arriving Sunday night the 19th for a week of teaching and evangelism in the Tarapoto area of Lima.

Please pray for the Holy Spirit to work in the lives and hearts of the people we will meeting and be sharing with.

Also, for the final logistics, Caleb returns to Lima the 26th and leaves that same day for Atlanta. Joy will arrive in Atlanta Aug 4th and Tim Sep 2nd. We very much appreciate your prayers.

We will live in the same house when we return. We are packing things up and hoping to prevent mold and mildew while we are gone. Lima is very humid and damp certain months of the year.
